Loran Cleric is an enemy in Bloodborne.
Loran Cleric Information
They are beastly mages with large horns, a human face and a long snakelike tongue. Altogether they look like devils or satyrs.
Strategy
- Moveset: Stationary enemy that casts fireballs from a distance, which can destroy pillars, strikes with his staff twice up close. They have an extremely rare AoE attack that can cover entire rooms.
- Strategies: Dodge his fireballs and get close to him, then hit him. Be careful while you're attacking this foe, as it has hyper-poise once it starts its attacking animation.

For anyone wanting to know: these guys drop both Coldblood Flower Bulb and Blooming Coldblood Flower. Layer 3 of the Ailing Loran Chalice (not the root chalice) has a straight shot to 2 Clerics with only a room with 2 Chime Maidens summoning spiders (though of course, the spiders take some shenanigans to avoid/kill). There's also a Labyrinth Sage in the lower section of the room that you can easily sneak behind for a visceral and rinse n' repeat.

These things have an insanely rare fire AoE attack with an equally insane radius. I'm not exaggerating, this attack has a radius of about 10-15 meters.

while exploring the second level of the ailing lornan challice dungeon I came to the room with the boss room lock switch scoping out the area from the upper levels I assumed the guards for this switch the insane numbers of undead were the thing keeping it safe so I made my way down from the right and began to take them out, but soon I heard what sounded like fire crackling and this mob explodes from behind some boxes in those corner turning my hunter into a thanks giving roast for the dead. watch out for them they hang to the left of the swtich in behind boxes and can fire off a hihg ammount of pyromancy spells that would make the beast possessed souls and ritual masters blush.
