Bloodborne DLC
Pre-Release DLC
Prior to Bloodborne's release in 2015, players had the opportunity to obtain exclusive content through pre-order bonuses and select retail promotions. Certain stores like GameStop offered Messenger Skins. This allowed the players to customize the appearance of their in-game Messenger, which are the small skeletal creatures that assist the players throughout their journey.
Those who pre-ordered the game in regions such as the UK and EU were rewarded with a special PS4 theme, which allowed players to customize and personalize their console with artwork inspired from Bloodborne.
To view all available cosmetics for the Messengers, please visit the Messenger Skins page.
Celebration DLC
To celebrate the milestone of Bloodborne reaching one million copies sold, a special in-game item, the Messenger Head Bandage was released as free DLC on the PlayStation Store. This was made available on April 16th, 2015, roughly a month after the game's official launch.
The Old Hunters DLC
The Old Hunters DLC for Bloodborne was officially released on November 24, 2015, offering players a significant expansion to the base game. Shortly after, on December 3, 2015, a re-release of Bloodborne was made available, featuring both the core game and the expansion bundled together. This special edition, often referred to as the Game of the Year (GOTY) edition, included the DLC directly on the disc, meaning players could access all the new content without the need for additional downloads.
The Old Hunters DLC introduced a variety of exciting new elements to Bloodborne, enriching the experience with new Locations to explore, Bosses to encounter, NPCs with compelling storylines, and a vast assortment of Weapons, Items, and Armor.
The Old Hunters DLC Overview

the DLC is a walk in the park compared to Depth 5 Fetid Rooted Cursed Dungeons

Is there a reason that my old save data doesn't load in when I try to play the GOTY edition?

Y'know, when I entered the wiki through the main page and saw the announcement of free DLC, I got majorly excited and pumped, however when everything loaded I only felt grieved, just another messenger hat.
Can anyone change the header to something like "Free messenger DLC hat on the way." so it's not so misleading and soul-crushing?

Is that the dlc area ? Or I just out of luck to find a key for it?

For ***** sake people, it's been only 2 weeks since the game release. If FROM want to release any significant DLC wait few more months, I'm sure they're working on it.
So i just went and looked these DLC things up... it says I cant purchase them because I didnt "pre-order" which I actually did lke as soon as BB was announced. But i get my games at stores, not over PS4. So am i right to assume you need to pre-order games thru PS4 to get the DLC stuff? I was probably in the first 10% of ppl to actually pre order it IRL

so where can i get the Messenger's Hat skin from this DLC??? anyone know yet?

It's April 19th and it's still not here unless I can't read I'm certain that it's past the 16th for everyone

Anyone else thinking that From are making a right royal balls up of the Bloodborne release? It seems its unfinished and then they give me A HAT! A HAT!!! Anyway, if they sort out multiplayer, it'll make me very happy. Otherwise, I will shortly be returning to DS1 cahracter on PS3, as multiplayer on that is much easier, which is absurd considering it came out 8 years ago! Sort it out FROM!!!
I just can't belive it thats theres going to be a D L C people :) :{D

Maybe the door that was on the great bridge (proven to be connected to the Cathedral Ward) will be an open shortcut! And the gate at the great bridge will lead to a DLC area.
Still havent found it on psn store... really hoping its not japan only.

New games coming out feel unfinished because if they were finished how would they incorporate DLC hence $$$$ . I'm not a fan of these types of games but bloodborne has changed my mind. This games is awesome. I kind of like not having multi player full time. What's the point if you summon a friend to help run the lvls. Sure a little help a some bosses ok but the entire lvl. It is more gratifying when I defeat a boss solo.

I love Chalice Dungeons and really hope we get more in the DLC. However I haven't seen any indication that there will be any. What do you guys think?

Other than a few lore videos such as this one (my favourite): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mU1jMd0MBQ Everyone was jumping on the 'Ludwig is the Forgotten Madman' bandwagon. I'm glad it's confirmed that Ludwig is a beast which is going to appear in this DLC. I would want to start rewatching lore videos again to brush up on the lore but it's getting busy at school. Oh well, my favourite is good enough.
So, apparently you can access the DLC once you progress far enough into the story.
That clock symbol thingy behind the hunter in the trailer, is found where the Choir made their home. Specifically, it's right next to Lumenflower Gardens.
On the bridge to the Upper Cathedral Ward lamp, look to your right, and you'll see the big clockwork symbol thingy.
So, looks like you'll access the DLC from that area, I reckon

Are we going to see more DLC for bloodborne ? There's yet others secrets to discover... so many questions without the start of an answer ! For example : the vilebloods, the queen Yharnam, the Pthumerians... Plus, there's something that could be... interesting as an add in gameplay. It's just a personal dream, to have the perfect trinity... We've got werewolves ( AKA Beast ) ; we've got "Aliens" ( AKA Milkweed ) ; what about... vampires ? (AKA vilebloods magic / blood manipulation ) ? This DLC was realy great in many forms : it brough a lot in therm of fun, of challenge, and some interesting facts / adds for the lore... But I wish for more add-ons of such a quality in a near future... And you, what do you think about it ?

so are they just abandoning this game cause thats what it feels like bring in train loads of money one DLC and its over wtf

He turned into a multi-headed horse for christ sake. Like Amelia's transformation looked painful but Ludwig's? Must have been total hell!
After finally setting Bloodborne down after platinum and a NG+ play-through, the DLC has completely re-energized me. But now that I've almost completed The Old Hunters (that SOB Laurence still remains) I'm wondering... what's next? Is this the only DLC we will see? Part of me hopes not and yet part of me is ok with this being it. End it on a high note, right? Thoughts?

I'm stuck in a wall near the entrance to the Underground Corpse Pile. https://youtu.be/uDlfeXFDndE Anyone know how to get out?
once in a while me and my friend are in the dlc areas and we cant ring our beckoning bell or resonate bell where we should be able to. for example we tried to beckon after lugarious in the cell hallway we tried restarting for him i was already resonating we tried closing the app and we tried to go to hunters dream nothing was working. he went to a different lamp and it started to work again. also had a problem after the living failures to be able to help one another for Mira if anyone else is having these issues or knows how to get them to bb staff it would be appreciated and yes he had insight and yeas i did even tho you dont need it to resonate i didnt have the problems he did in the first instance the second was me with Mira
if im playing just offline does it mean i can can face the DLC bosses
