Executioner Set Information
As the great Logarius once said, "Acts of goodness are not always wise, and acts of evil are not always foolish, but regardless, we shall always strive to be good."
Executioner Set Location
- Located on a dead body in Cainhurst Castle.
- The Gold Ardeo can be bought from the Messengers after acquiring the Wheel Hunter Badge key item, which is given by Alfred after completing his quest, or by killing him and looting his corpse. If you decide to kill him to get the Ardeo, do not kill him right away. Instead, wait until he's at his second location, and kill him there via whatever method you please.
Notes
- Alfred will immediately go and kill Annalise if you give him the unaddressed Cainhurst summons found in the Cainhurst Castle throne room. Afterwards you can retrieve the Queenly Flesh from her throne.
- Adella the Nun is inconsolable unless the Hunter speaks to her while wearing a chestpiece representing the Healing Church, such as the White or Black Church Set, Gascoigne's Set, Choir Set or the Executioner Garb. If this is done, she will calm down, offer some lore, and ask if there is any place safe where she can go. The hunter can then choose to send her to the Cathedral Ward or Iosefka's Clinic (after speaking to the resident NPCs of those two areas)
- This armor set has excellent arcane and bolt defense as well as having good physical defense.
- The garb has the symbol of "Hunter" rune, which can be seen on Hunter's Mark, as well as being a covenant rune.

AnonymousMaybe it’s just me but the head piece feels like a reference to Pyramid Head from Silent Hill. He’s also dressed in executioner’s garb and, well, I could reasonably see somebody calling this particular headpiece a pyramid.

The helmet rattles when you speed slide down ladders, because its tip hits the steps. Why has no one put it in the trivia or something?

Wearing the Master's Iron Helm with this set instead of the Ardeo really bridges the gap between Bloodborne and Dark Souls. Equip yourself with the Holy Moonlight Sword to really complete the look.

You dont actually need to get the queenly flesh item to get the Gold Ardeo, I gave Alfred the summons, then went and killed Rom and then when I got back to the hunters dream it was available. I think you only need to give alfred the summons.

Yeah, don't know how many of you understand Pyramid Heads role in SH2, but this is definitely a nod to Pyramid head. No doubt about it.

I've been reading berserk lately and I just got to the part where we meet Mozgus, and I definitely see the influence of the wheel weapon carried by Angel Face in his crew, but I think this set is fairly influenced by the attire of Mozgus himself. It may be a long shot but I think it may be worth a trivia note.

I've made comparisons, and it seems that this attire set has the best overall defense (minus the Frenzy Resist if that wasn't obvious). I also like the look of the attire (minus the helm). Any else wish to input their opinions?
