So how much does the set sell for?

Lots of hunter sets have some something adorning the right leg. The old hunters thought that the beastly scourge crept up the right leg, so they wore protective garters or some such. One could argue that Gascoigne succumbed to beasthood because his trousers have nothing on the right leg.

Black church garb is much better overall, especially for poison res which this wiki claims to be fantastic at. It has slightly higher frenzy res and beasthood, but nothing to write home about. If you want those go with hunter set, which is free and better.

The Bath Messengers are not selling this set for some reason, even though I have already defeated Father Gascoigne. Can anybody help me out?

The coolest armor in game, especially the hat. I acquire this always imidiatly after defeating papa G. and never switch again. Hat also looks really cool with the hunters garb without the cape (the set you find with the high top hat)

Weird thing I've noticed. He has a fabulous diamond-encrusted gold belt buckle, but it only seems to show up on female characters wearing the set, despite it being clearly visible on him in the cinematic for the fight. Why can't my male hunter have swagtastic trouser suspension?

Which is better stat wise? I know the individual stats of the armors but the damage reduction stats on my player doesn't match them. I want to know before I spend points

I was wearing this when I got to Yahar'gul, and Adella saw me as a church member and went to Oedon Chapel. I thought that was pretty interesting. Like the armor set states that the shawl was from the Healing church but I didn't know that would work with Adella

Equip the full set and talk to the first npc you can send to odeon chapel (idr her name sorry, its the old lady sitting in a chair wearing the white hat next to one of the entrances). She will recognize you as her son and give you sedatives.

With that set and the Evelyn and Reiterpallasch equipped and the latter transformed you can sort of cosplay Roland of The Dark Tower.

Same as in it has the same effect on the priestess. Went through my playthrough wearing Cascoigne's Garb and Top hat n she recognized me as a member of the church. Maybe because Cascoigne was a member of the church?
