Celestial Dial
A celestial dial that functions with the giant astral clock in the Grand Cathedral. When the dial is held up towards the Astral Clock, the clock will come to life and reveal a secret to its curious interloper

Celestial Dial is a key Item in Bloodborne. It was added with The Old Hunters DLC.

Celestial Dial Usage

• Use in front of Lady Maria's Chair to turn the Astral Clock to access the Fishing Hamlet.
• Note: the description says that the Astral Clock is in the Grand Cathedral.  However, as the description of the Eye Pendant says, "There are two cathedrals in the Hunter's Dream. One lies past the River of Blood, and another contains the private research hall of the Healing Church."

• Dropped by Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower

Notes

• The large clock has Runes all over it instead of numbers.
  • Initially the clock is set to Guidance and Beast's Embrace.
  • When activated, the hands move downwards, to the Deep Sea rune, opening a passage.
