Underground Cell Key

Key to the cell below the Grand Cathedral.

Hunters are held within the underground cell, so that things better left unseen, better left unknown, will decay quietly in the fallow darkness

Underground Cell Key is a Key Item in Bloodborne. It was added with The Old Hunters DLC

 

Underground Cell Key Usage

 

Location

  • Research Hall: in Patient Room Floor 3, accessed after rotating the staircase. Key is on a dead body there. (Beware of attack from behind!)

 

Notes

  • Go into Adeline's room and take the first elevator. Then go take the second elevator but halfway up, you'll see a spot for you to leave the elevator early on your left. Take that little exit and make a left. Continue ahead and go down the stairs on your right, then back up the next set of stairs on your left. Make another left, run all of the way to the end and you'll see it on your right.

      The elevator drop off point is on floor 4, the door you want is on floor 3, the stairs go down 2 floors, you go down then up

        I just realized it's possible to get the key without raising the staircase. You can run up the stairs and into the dark room with the ladder and instead of going into the room with the crazy screaming dude you can turn around and run and jump onto the balcony to the key. Took a few tries but I was able to get the it. Not sure if I'm the last to know or what, but it saved me a lot of effort.

          Although I've obtained the Underground Cell Key, the damn game won't let me open the door to the Church Pick Hunter. Just tells me that it's locked over n over.

              "one of the side rooms" isn't exactly helpful. i just cleared it all the way to maria and meticulously searched every room i saw, so it must be pretty well hidden... can someone at least say which floor it's on?
