Tempering Damp Blood Gem is a material Item in Bloodborne. They can be slotted in to Blood Gem Imprint slots in weapons to add an effect to a weapon. Blood Gems require the Blood Gem Workshop Tool and can be slotted and unslotted at the Workshop
Tempering Damp Blood Gem Usage
- Improves the physical ATK of a Weapon
- This Gemstone can come in Radial, Triangle or Waning styles, but the effects are the same
Location
- Tier 3 can be found in the chalice dungeon dropped by werewolf boss
- Tier 5 is in the Yahar'gul past the 3 hunters; down the stairs, past the broken doors and inside a room. A werewolf will be guarding it
- Rating 14 dropped by madman in ailing loran chalice layer one pre area
- Tempering Damp Blood Gem (5) dropped by Merciless Watchers in Lower Pthumerian Labyrinth

- Glyph: wvq3m674 Rotted & Fetid rites, perfect for farming Radial Tempering Damp Blood Gems (5-6) from first boss (Merciless Watchers). Lever to open boss room is on a straight path from a ladder right on the left of the lamp, only 2 enemies to kill to reach it.

I just got a Tempering Damp BG w/physical ATK 8.1 and arcane 24.8. I’ve heard that flat rate gems are better than split but that 24.8 sounds really tempting.

I found a circular tempering damp blood gem that adds physical and blood but it doesn't say anything about that on here

One of the shark giants in Fishing Hamlet drops a +20,3% Physical gem
There are droplet tempering damps but it doesn't say anything about them.

is the 14 Rating entry for physical attack up a collective 30% (and a rally boost) or is it 18% unless it has the rally boost (which reduces the bonus to 12%)?

There is a droplet one in Nightmare of Mensis its on the bridge heading toward the leaver that drops the brain its 18% phys
