Cursed Tempering Damp Blood Gem is a Droplet Blood Gem in Bloodborne. Blood Gems require the Blood Gem Workshop Tool and can be slotted and unslotted at the Workshop
Cursed Tempering Damp Blood Gem Usage
- Physical ATK UP
- Secondary effect is always negative, but the Primary Effect will be higher than normal Tempering Damp Blood Gems.
- Using on Firearms completely negate Durability DOWN negative effect.
- Damage vs. Kin DOWN negative effect does not affect human opponents, highly recommended for stacking on weapons for PvP.
- Blood damage for Bloodtinge counts as physical attack, and so it is a good choice for Skill/Bloodtinge, Strength/Bloodtinge or Quality/Bloodtinge builds.
Location
- Drop from Winter Lanterns. (Droplet, jump into the window from the broken cage elevator in Mergo's Loft Middle)
- Drop from Winter Lanterns in Fishing Hamlet. Ride down the elevator from Lighthouse Hut lamp and turn to the right. There are two of them.
- Drop from Labyrinth Watcher in Phumeru Ihyll Root Chalice. (Radial, Fetid Rotted Cursed offering required)
- Rare drop from Merciless Watcher in Pthumeru Root Chalice.

AnonymousThese are insanely easy to get for the benefits you get from them. Here is how i farmed these:
1. Kill Willem in Byrgenwerth and don't pick up his drop, instead do the item dupe glitch (you have to run to specific point of forbidden woods and back to the drop twice)
2. Now that you have 3 tier 3 Eye runes, beat DLC until you get shortcut from hut to orphan
3. Assemble a good enough damage build, to be able to one hit visceral winter lanterns lurking below the hut without any caryll runes (you need all slots for eye runes)
4. Parry these guys but do let them stack up some frenzy on you so it can get negated by visceral animation (i recomend quit outs if you get grabbed, you will rarely survive)
5. Farm them until you get top tier gems preferably with, Damage vs Kin curse (only 3 bosses in main game are kin and all are piss easy, or dead by the point you have this farm method available) or Durability curse (Druability one is kinda annoying so get max 1 gem with it otherwise you will run back to hunters dream a lot for repairs)
6. Congrats now you have top tier gems, now go kill any boss in literal seconds

Farming the winter lanterns directly under the hut in the fishing hamlet is the quickest way to get the best version of these. They have a higher drop rate than the others and its quicker than farming the dungeons since the lantern is so close. Bring some bold hunters marks, go down, send the lift back up, kill, kill, repeat.

i got cursed tempering damp blood gem (5) 14 it gives physical attack up 22.5% and increases stamina costs 2.6%
Shame the healing church didn't develop a workshop tool to remove curses from blood gems. It would have taken some of the pain out of farming. Who wants "hp depletes" :-/
