- It's worth mentioning the wig is different for males and females. Females have a little top hat and no bow on the ponytail placed higher on the head while males have a longer ponytail that is lower on the head with a black bow.

For those who don't like the look of the wig, but still want to get its armor bonuses, you can wear the tomb prospector chest armor. It hides the wig perfectly.

Does anybody knows if this ponytail replaces the braid in the braided hairstyle on a male character?

depending on the lighting this isn't so, even looks wacky in cutscene, especially moonpresence intro. uggh must.. know.. true.. color..

I'm not sure how to edit this page but it's worth mentioning the wig is different for males and females. Females having a little top hat and no bow on the ponytail (I think higher positioning too). Males having a longer ponytail with a black bow. Funnily enough Lady Maria uses the male wig along with her normal hat.

I was very disappointed when I found out the Knight's Wig isn't the big bow and ponytail on a female character. It looks like a little top hat with feathers sticking out.

it seems to me some beasts r afraid of it.especially in old yarnham
Short, slicked back hair, thick brows, and mustache goatee combo, with R/G/B to 170 and with the first hunter set you even look like the hunter in the early trailers. BOOM!
