One of the resonating bells that cross the gaps of worlds. This bell is cracked and stained with the blood of beasts.

A human must expend Insight to ring this uncanny bell.

The old hunters, who have long passed from the dream but cannot forget the feeling of the hunt, rely upon messengers to relay their thoughts.

Ring the bell at their side, and they are certain to give a listen.

For the night of the hunt is long, and unchanging."

Old Hunter Bell is an Key Item in Bloodborne. It was added with Patch 1.07.

 

Old Hunter Bell Usage

  • Ring near an Old Hunters marker to summon a friendly NPC to assist you.
  • Consumes 1 Insight

  • See the Old Hunters page for details of who you can summon where
  • Unlike other Multiplayer items, this bell will be found on the "Key Items" on the inventory screen. This is because the item enables you to summon at a specific spot rather than simply call others into your world.

      Can you get two of these? My game glitched or something and when I picked it up it never got added to my inventory. It’s also not showing up where it’s supposed to

        isn't this actually called the beckoning bell in-game or is there a different bell called hunter's bell too?

          Just wanna say, NPC summons have absolutely garbage terrain mapping. Any time I summon one, I have to make sure to watch them as I go or they get stuck on seemingly anything at all. It is just amazing how many things this game regresses from it's predecessors' versions.
