Patch v1.0.3 notes from April 23rd, 2015. It is supposed to fix the following:

As we confirmed previously, the 1.03 update seeks to reduce certain load times in addition to performance optimizations. The patch also resolves an issue that resulted in abnormal game behavior after many continuous hours of play. Additional fixes will be included as well.

Patch notes of UPDATE 1.03:
  • Reduced loading times (approx. 5-15 seconds, varying by circumstances)
  • Fixed bug that left certain lifts and elevators inoperable
  • Fixed bug that resulted in bosses becoming immobilized
  • Fixed bug that left players unable to advance NPC events during multi-play
  • When the PS4 is put into Rest Mode during online play, the game will now return to the main title screen upon resuming play
  • This will resolve matchmaking issues related to Suspend/Resume.
  • Other various bug fixes

Not mentioned

  • Item descriptions are now displayed in loading screens (used to be the Bloodborne logo).
  • Matchmaking for both co-op and PvP has been improved.
  • Cannon has Quicksilver Bullet use increased to 12 (was 10).
  • Old Hunter Bone has Quicksilver Bullet use decreased to 5 (was 6).
  • Several changes were made to the Choir Bell:
    • Quicksilver Bullet consumption decreased to 8 (was 10).
    • Attribute requirement (arcane) reduced to 15 (was 20).
    • The amount of heal is greatly reduced (now heals approximately 2/3 of pre-patch).
  • Users have custom body types in game now (was not working previously)
  • Blood Echoes now do not get relocated to Lecture Building when you die (Making it seem as if they vanished)
  • Cathedral Ward elevator floor is now empty (was displaying ground texture as if a hidden area)
  • Cooperator fighting the Moon Presence will be brought to 1hp by her Gaze of The Moon attack instead of dying instantly.
  • Objects can no longer be interacted with (Search Body, etc.) while performing character actions (such as jumping or rolling).
  • Skips & Glitches patched out:
    • Jump to Forbidden Woods/Iosefka's Clinic.
    • Shadows of Yharnam jump.
    • Infinite Blood Echoes loop from running in circles in Forbidden Woods.
    • Father Gascoigne stair visceral.

We will continue to make improvements to better the play experience.

      The iosefka clinic to forbidden woods skip still exists, and can be done consistently with RNG. Or inconsistently...

        My cat likes to lay on my PS4 for the warmth. Sometimes when she steps off she ejects my Bloodborne disc. Please From fix this in 1.04!!!! She's way to OP.

          plz tell me they'll nerf the crappy rifle spear glitch and online matchmaking.. the latter is an absolute train wreck.. it's just so disappointing because there's so much potential here

            Can confirm that the body build glitch has been fixed, and seems to apply to all previously created characters.

            • I don't have the game yet, but I love how from addressing many of the issue in Blazborne (in their own fromey way) Makes it all the more sweeter once I get it.

                hi to all.. my stats are 50 vit 40 end 50 str 50 skl 40 blood 15 arc im actually on NG + doing every chalices. my main weapon is +10 Stake Driver..ive been using since..i defeated everything until Pthurmerian... i just want to have a different taste or style of fighting..i already have +10Chikage, +10Evelyn, +10Wheel, +10Burial, +10SawCleaver..... i have access to all weapons.. anyone can recommend?? thanks!!

                  I just got two chunks from those blue eyed werewolves in the upper ward. I think they upped the drop rate, or I'm one lucky S.O.B. Can anyone confirm??

                    The only people that were affected by the forbidden woods skip / the dog blood echoes glitch were happy about it, and you just had to take away their fun. This is stupid, i shouldnt have to spend 20 hours just to farm a character to the pvp meta. Poor move fromsoft. Poor move. I love what ya did with the loads tho.

                      I really hope they will adjust sound levels for firepaper and especially the Empty Phantasm Shell. The sound of the buff is deafening if you use a HTS system and high volume for immersion. And the Empty Phantasm Shell sound looks every time you roll/open a door/pickup item it starts over with a loud effect.

                      • Did they change some item descriptions as well? Was watching a stream and it looked like the Hunter Hat had some new details: "modeled after an old hunter" or something. Haven't updated my game yet so I can't verify.

                          They way that they "balanced" the cannon is NOT working. It's still a one hit kill in PVP and is basically useless in PVE because you can only fire two shots with Blood Bullets. They should have just done a straight nerf to damage instead, maybe reduce it by 1/5 or 1/4 and return it to its original Quicksilver Bullet consumption.

                            Now, I've been a fan of the Souls series since I first got it. I'm alright, but not great. My brother, however, is just... Perfect. Well, he was until this game came. Now, no matter what skill level you have, the game always breaks down to one thing: level. FROM can argue, at least you're doing 1 point of damage to that boss with 50,000 HP, and ultimately, that happens a lot. They changed this to a grind game... For that, they failed to reintroduce the Souls series.

                              i killed henryk but i still can't use the lamp way to go FROM, nerf the cannon but no bug fixes? *****ing lame!

                              • I like that Hunter's Bone was reduced to 5 bullets. I was never quite able to make good use of it at that price, but now I can use just my blood bullets on it. That allows it to become a 100% recyclable technique in certain situations
