Update 1.05 will be released right after the server maintenance.
The details on the update are as follows.
-If a player uses the Beckoning Bell or Small Resonant Bell while using a password, it will be clearly indicated that a password is in use.
-If the level difference between the host and the guest when matched using a password is large, the guest's stats will be adjusted to match the host's.
-Other bug fixes and matching improvements.

I can just imagine how much people this will piss off because I have invaded so much people who have a friend that's like at level 300 or something and can one shot me.
Sooooooo..... if I'm level 120 and I get beckoned by someone who is level 200, do I get boosted to level 200? If so, are my stats such as strength, skill, etc adjusted, and how? I mean....they'd either have to do some complicated math to distribute points in these stats to match what you're currently focusing on leveling, or they would have to distribute them as evenly as possible across all base stats, which scares me.

What if the person you're summoning in has a greater level difference than you? Like say a lvl 100 is summoning in someone at 200+, does the guest get bumped down to a 100?

I've been searching for the chime of a sinister bell via Short Ritual Root Chalice for 20 minutes now (after downloading the new patch) without any result, seems it's still useless...

From Software gets worse and worse. They are simply shameful.Bloodborne is the most boring game I've ever played.

Tested it with my friend earlier and its not working anymore unless you have opened the same dungeon. This is very disappointing. = ( One of the thing I enjoy the most from this game is getting summoned randomly thru short root and finding out a very good farming dungeon.

I like the approach they're taking, but regardless they still need to nerf invasions. It's so stupid how an invader has nothing to lose and the invaded has everything to lose. Maybe the invaders should have to forfeit a blood gem or give up a portion of their own echos or something...

All FromSoft needs to do right now, is add a 1v1 and 2v2 PvP arena, much like they did in the Dark Souls 1 DLC - where health isn't reduced, and make it so people have the option to continue or leave after each dungeon boss - so that dungeon crawling wont be tedious with friends. Also, if they're having DLC - From needs to add a lot more weapons and armour, even if it's just for 'Fashion-Souls'. It was a disappointment seeing such a lack of attires in a game where fashion would be essential.

I have had a terrible time TRYING to do multiplayer since the patch, both co-op and invasions. Takes about and hour to find someone IF I find anyone. Today I must have spent over 6 hours only to get 3 invasions and 3 co-op matches, big FUMBASA to From.

Until they "fix" the reiterpallasch to work properly with an arcane build and buff the hunter tools eg a call beyond i wont be playing anymore co-op is boring and i just cant get into PvP.

it says "stats" but we talking about str, dex, ex,ex or like just def/hp? Whats being adjusted?
I'm a level 254 and my friend who just got the game is a level 20... according to the wiki levels shouldn't matter right? He rings the beckoning bell and i ring the small resonant bell and it's not working. Oh yeah and Im in ng+++++ and he hasn't finished the game at least once
