Mould that grows from rotten flesh and blood inside the old labyrinth. Matures to bear giant spores.

Tomb Mold is an item in Bloodborne that can be used to create a Chalice Dungeon.

  • Exploring a high depth labyrinth often generates significant amounts of Tomb Mold (5) from chests and enemies.
  • It's frequently dropped by Labyrinth Rats.
  • Tomb Mold (5) sells for 10000 Blood Echoes per unit.

  • Can be purchased in the Hunter's Dream after defeating Queen Yharnam in Great Pthumeru Ihyll Chalice.
Tomb Mold 5 Tomb Mold (5) Used in Chalices: Isz Root Chalice, Sinister Isz Root Chalice

  • There are 5 in the 3rd layer of Great Isz Chalice along with the 6 Sage’s Hair and Red Jelly
  • Found in depth 5 chalice dungeons
  • Dropped by Labyrinth Rat  in Great Isz Chalice
  • Sold by Bath Messengers in NG+ for 40.000 Blood Echoes
  • There are 5 in the optional area BEFORE the Layer 2 lamp in the Great Pthumeru Ihyll Chalice Dungeon
    • There's a door at the right before enter the FIRST boss, if you follow the path you will see a stonebridge with a corpse and the Tomb Mold (5)
    • The fastest route to these is to go to directly across from the giant boulder in the middle of the swamp, on ground level
    • There are also 2x plus 2x as loot in the area should you explore
    • They are also dropped by the Watcher's Gravedigger and Giant Rat enemies in the area

      Hot damn, if you explore chalice dungeons for long enough, you'll amass hundreds of thousands (or even millions) of blood echoes by simply selling your extra Tomb Mold (5) and Ritual Blood (5). I keep about 50 of either on hand at all times and sell whatever amount over that I happen to collect. Great for leveling up quickly.

        This details how to get tomb mold very quickly http://goo.gl/ATYe2h the run takes about 1minute and can give you bettwen 0-4 tomb mold a run through. Average is about 1 which is still pretty fast

          They seem to drop of rats in a great isz chalice dungeon my seed is djgkphxt there are a group of rats on the first floor and at least 2 have dropped them 3 times in a row

            Tomb Mould (1) was unlocked for purchase from the blood echoes vendor after defeating the Hintertomb Chalice Dungeon, testing exactly what conditions are required to unlock each material.

              Tomb Mould (2) was unlocked for purchase from the blood echoes vendor after defeating the lower pthumeru chalice dungeon, testing exactly what conditions are required to unlock each material.

                Tomb Mould (4) was available to purchase from the echoes vendor after completing the Great Pthumeru Ihyll Chalice Dungeon. It is impossible to tell at this moment whether or not the Yharnam Stone is the trigger for this or not. An educated guess would say that it is not because all other grades of Ritual Blood/Tomb Mould are unlocked by completing Chalice Dungeons (I have given details on the unlocks for all ritual materials in their respective pages).

                  I'm unable to edit this page for whatever reason, but Pthumeru Ihyll Root F/R/C 74hjsy7a contains Tomb Mold (5) x2 in the first bonus room, before the first lantern. Also contains a few Ritual Blood (5) and Logarius' Lost Wheel.

                    the Tomb Mold (4) only becomes available AFTER completeing Great Pthumeru Ihyll Chalice, not after unlocked it.

                      That guy's video is trash. Don't waste your time with it. The fastest way to get Tomb Mold (5) is to use the standard isz dungeon and kill the rats that immediately spawn. His video has you running half of a chalice dungeon to find rats when rats happen to be the first spawned enemy in the standard isz dungeon.
