Murky Blood Gemstone

A blood gem that fortifies weapons and adds various properties. Blood gems are especially rare blood stones that grow on clodblood.

Blood gems are kneaded into weapons using workshop tolls, but only of matching shape.

Most radial blood gems have effects that bear upon physical attacks.

Murky Blood Gemstone is a Radial Blood Gem in Bloodborne. Blood Gems require the Blood Gem Workshop Tool and can be slotted and unslotted at the Workshop

  • Adds slow poison effect to a Weapon

 

 

Location

  • slow moving snake masses drop these (they also drop the Waning Shape Gem too, but i dont see the page for that)
  • Dropped by Nightmare Apostle (purple aura only)

 

 

Notes

  • if u need to farm good murky gems, use this glyph wcqz9kbc, its the pthumre ihyll chalice and the spiders next to the first room switch with the purple aura will drop them regularly with good item discovery. u can find lvl 18 gems with 14 slow poison here.

      If getting to and farming the spiders on the first floor is too difficult/time consuming for you like it was for me, then you can beat the layer 1 boss (Beast-Possessed Soul, pretty easy) and proceed to layer 2. Take the circular elevator in the first room up and go around to the only door on that level. In that door there is a big room with 4-5 of the purple aura spiders that you can farm. There are no enemies between you and them and they are very fairly spaced out. A much better spot to farm radial Murky Gems, imo.
