Great One Beast Information
- Great One Beast - is an unused boss, recently discovered by data miners Sanadsk and Zullie The Witch.
Locations
- Back up your save data and check it out on glyph "arkhv2vs"
- The only way to leave the dungeon is to jump into the unanimated chasm, and die. You will wake up in The Hunter's Dream, but your Blood Echoes will be trapped in the dungeon.

Combat Information
Very unfinished boss with lingering AoE areas around it. Can sometimes do damage simply by walking near the player. Tricky hit boxes all around so widely swinging attacks work the best against it. It has low damage attacks and minimal health pool so medium to high level players can kill it with one combo and even level 4 players shouldn't have difficult time killing it
Strategy
- Get near it and spam trick weapon transformation attacks to find its hit box

- The devs may have planned to give it golden fur.

AnonymousI think this thing was supposed to fill the same purpose as teh watchdog. The "old lords" were the great ones (and prob also a nod to dark souls) and created it to watch over pthumeria, so they probably also created this thing to. it could also be a darkbeast, it seems to use a lot of lighting and looks a lot like paarl, darkbeasts are the final form of the beast plague (which is why there is so many in loran, it was infected way before yharnam) and it's not that hard to believe this could simply be another human infected by the scourge. still, I like to believe that this thing was supposed to have a be something more than a darkbeast and is somehow related to the great ones, it's way cooler than it just being another victim of the scourge

BRUH I HATE THIS GUY !! THE FIRST CHALICE DUNGEON I JOINED HAD THIS MF AND I DIED SO MANY TIMESSSSSSSSSSS AHAHHAH
seriously though i was scared i couldn't leave but then thank god for reddit i fell into the abyss and died

Man, I wish this thing had lore associated with it. Is it the "pet" of a Great One? A Great One itself? Is it guarding the tombs?

I saw a video of someone restoring the boss fight to what it was supposed to be, and there was quite a bit of electricity involved in the attacks of this beast. Would it be safe to assume that it would have been another Darkbeast?
