Pulsing Blood Gem

Pulsing Blood Gemstone 2

A blood gem that fortifies weapons and adds various properties.
Blood gems are especially rare blood stones that grow on coldblood.

Blood gems are kneaded into weapons using workshop tools, but only when of matching shape.

Most waning blood gems provide rare special effects such as fire, bolt, or healing.

    • glyph: pwmf22gu (FRC Pthumeru Ithyll). There is a fire witch with her mobs whose patrol goes over poison puddles. Simply go the the Layer 1 lamp and you can just wait for them to be so completely oblivious to the fact they're being poisoned that they all die (you can see their health bars going down when waiting at the lamp). All 3 eye runes and the witch drops a +5 pulsing circle gem often. A bit time-consuming, but you don't have to deal with her fireball crap.

Hey there, I wanted to suggest an edit to one of the bullet points regarding this type of bloodgem, as it is not completely accurate.. The bullet point which reads, "Weapon must be equipped and in your hand for the effect to work" is not correct. Where this is not true is in the idea that if we had a scenario where a firearm had the pulsing gem inserted, and I transformed a weapon that becomes wielded with two hands (i.e., the firearm is no longer held in the hand), the player's health will, in fact, continue to regenerate. But let's say that there were two firearms equipped: an Evelyn with a gem to boost its damage, and a blunderbuss with the pulsing gem. If the player is holding the Evelyn, regardless of whether the trick weapon is transformed or not, the player's health will NOT regenerate in this example. Tl;dr You can still receive the healing benefit while two handing a weapon - it DOES need to be equipped but it doesn't need to be in the player's hand

Pulsing Damp Blood Gem (5) with 15 rating and circle shape can be HP continues to recover+4, because I got one.

            • I'm trying to create a hp regen build, but can't find any higher lvl gems. I found the +1 version and edited above.
I believe that Loran silverbeasts drop all kind of waning gems, in chalice dungeons they may drop higher level ones than just +1. Can anyone running Loran chalices confirm or deny?
