- Do not kill any enemy except required bosses or "beast" enemies. No humanoid deaths, to include all enemies in Old Yharnam.

- No weapon upgrades, no buffs/pellets, no throwable/projectile items, no runes/covenants.

- Restless Hunter
- Only enter the Hunter's Dream for the final credits. One playthrough, no exit game/continue.

- Madness Run
- Choose Waste of Skin, use no weapons or weapon upgrades (be a man and beat everything to death with your bare hands!), no Doll (no level ups), naked (no armor sets), no runes/covenants, no buffs/pellets.

- Choose Waste of Skin, only pants equipped, choose the blunderbuss, using your fists and blunderbuss only. Runes and upgrades to pistol allowed . No summoning, kill every NPC you meet (no matter what!)

AnonymousI’m thinking of doing a run starting at BL4, and allowing myself to level exactly once after each boss kill, a sort of Dungeons and Dragons themed run. Maybe stream it. Would love to BL4 the game but I’m not that good lol

curious hunter run play the game sticking to every new piece of equipment you find ( for exsmple if you find a new weapon while exploring you have to instantly switch to that weapon and stick to it, untill you find another weapon or complete the game, the same goes for armour and items) and purchasing items allowed.

Siderite Weapons/Hunter of Mercy Run
Ng+ only, equip Blade of Mercy and Burial Blade as primary weapons, equip Torch and Wooden Shield as secondary weapons, equip Crowfeather garb set, and return to Hunter's Dream after every boss death. Use only Throwing Knives, Molotoves and Old Hunter Bone. Vials and Bullets limit:20

No HUD run? Play the entire game without having active knowledge of blood vials, quicksilver bullets, health or stamina, and no way of knowing the enemy's health. Surely it's possible, but it can be hard to tell when you need to use blood vials or how far into a boss fight you are. Could be fun.

Just something I thought up for fun ^_^ Use only the Cainhurst Knight armor, the plank shield and Ludwig's Holy Blade for the whole game. It shouldn't prove to be too challenging but could serve as a fun little starting point to help get used to item limitations in other runs.
Technically since the Waste of Skin starts at lvl 4, it's impossible to do a SL1 run

No lvl up of course, no weapon upgrades (results in no gems), no buff papers, no pellets, no flamethrowers and no molotovs. Just this: choose a weapon from start and a gun. Parries acceptable.

Start a new game offline. After beating Cleric beast and father Gascoigne, accumulate 15 insight before beating the blood starved beast and the remaining bosses. Complete the game (including DLC, excluding Chalice Dungeon) with a maximum of 15 vitality and a maximum of 80 blood level. Any knowledge of a madman must be consumed immediately unless your insight is 90. Any insight accumulated must not be used for purchasing items unless you have enough knowledge of a madman to accumulate 90 insight after purchases. Avoid losing insight from enemies.

Blood and Steel: - Any armor, any weapon (besides Tonitrus, Holy Moonlightsword) - No consumables (Pebbles and Antidote are a exeption) - No guns - No gems - No hunter tools (exept music box, monocular) Its all about being you, your own strength and your weapon of choice.

Just finished a run with no primary weapon. Took it a step further and killed all the optional bosses for *****s and giggles. Ebertias is surprisingly easy to kill with the flamethrower.

Is it possible to do a visceral attack only speed run? Say, with only a pistol in the left hand and bare-handed for the right, where almost all damage comes from VA?

This is essentially a run with only the use of the cane whip with nothing in your left hand and only using items such as the throwing knives, molotoves, rocks and such. If you really want to change the feel of the game I highly recommend you try this.
Theres actually two different runs im going to start in the next day or so...im gonna wields only and also gonna start a base weapons only.....no upgrades for main weapons or pistols at all. Sixties420 gaming if you wanna watch....good hunting
