The spider is in the first phase passive and wont attack. also the spider summons at the start several spiders wich are recommended to kill. the spiders are behaving also very passive until u get to close to them or the boss. If u kill all the spiders before attacking the boss you can inflict as much as dmg, until the spider teleports randomly and summons again spider here starts phase 2. In phase 2 the spider will cast a arcane blizzard upon you wich are very hard to dodge now you can decide if u want to kille the litlle spiders first or not while dodging the arcane blizzard .If u manage to kill the boss in phase 2 then u are through.If u dont kill the boss and teleports again randomly an now summons the doubled amount off the spiders. Also the spider cats the arcane blizzard fasrer and with higher duration wich is harder again to be successful. A third attack the boss will ''perform'' a arcane stomp wich inflicts high dmg to you, but is possible to dodge. I recommend a blunt weapon with a magic enchantment thunder was the best . I tried fire and arcane also, but iguess thunder is the best .The boss and his little spiders have a fortified head so it is recommended to attack the b from the spider and his adds.
