Armor, or Attire is protective equipment for the player character in Bloodborne. Characters can equip protective gear in four different body slots: Head, Chest, Arms and Legs. Attire or Armor is often comprised of "Sets", with a uniform, matching look and similar protective characteristics.

I always end up using Hunters set (A) head and chest, and Yahar'gul set gloves and trousers. Gives good defence and looks cool. But use whatever you like the look of, it doesn't matter so much. If you want to increase survive-ability just level up vitality.

Bout to make an abraham Lincoln build, using the pimp cane, and the pimp hunter set, I did not win the civil war just for beast to roam free, who will stand with me in these times of darkness?

Okay, quick question: I've never played bb as I don't own a Play Station, and I'm curious as to how armor works in this game. I heard from somewhere that carry weight isn't a thing here, but in that case, what's the downside to wearing the more protective armors? Or is armor in this game just for vanity?

I wish there was more armor sets or just more things with brighter colors such as the knight set or henryks set. It does fit the tone though so it makes sense.

Can we talk about how most Bloodborne armor can be mixed and matched real well because of the similar colours and details? Possibilities are YUGE. Love this*****.

Really cool looking with that color and design and it will help against dark beast paarl so much. Should be added asap:)

Anyone else feel like the helmet resembled pyramid head from the silent hill series? Feels like to me, which is one reason why i like to wear it.

From a video i saw some guy who sounded all official and got info from websites and such said there would be 20 sets of armor but there are 21! which means we might still have hope to get more pretty outfits for fashion….

What ever happened to that helmet from the Old Hunters trailer? Many people pointed it out and stuff and I really wish you could obtain it in the dlc since some of the old hunters wear it. Usually the boom hammer ones. Does anyone know why this is?

The coolest looking set for me is Cainhurst Helmet, Maria Hunter Garb, Cainhurst Gauntlets, and Gascoigne's Trousers. The helmet, garb, and gauntlets make you look like a refined knight, with dignity and grace, but also power. And Gascoigne's pants are there because they're black and have shoes instead of boots. Because boots are dumb.
